Built General Tough

After the Covid, the good weather? | Consonews

The good progress of the vaccination campaign against the coronavirus, the relaxation of the restrictive measures taken to face the coronavirus and the opening of the Moroccan skies, were very well received by tourism professionals who hope to compensate for the enormous losses that they charged for over 17 months. Each in his field of activity has concocted offers to attract tourists, especially MREs and residents.

ONMT Ntla9awfbladna

The starting signal was given by the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT). Last May, he launched the “Ntla9awfbladna” campaign, the objective of which is “to strengthen the feeling of belonging and pride of each Moroccan and make him want to explore more all the riches.
from his country.
The campaign also aims to make Morocco the preferred destination for Moroccans. For Adel El Fakir, Director General of ONMT, “the ambition with Ntla9awfbladna is to address our compatriots by inspiring them to discover all the riches that our country offers and by reminding them that our country has all the assets to meet their tourism needs ”. The director of ONMT says he is confident is convinced of the enormous potential that domestic tourism represents for the sector in Morocco, which supplies nearly a third of tourists. “In the long term:
1 in 2 tourists could be a domestic traveler. Today and more than ever, Moroccans want to travel and the sector needs to be stimulated, ”notes the CEO of ONMT.
The office carried out a study which revealed that 60% of Moroccans want to travel in summer, if sanitary conditions allow it. Of course, the opening of the Moroccan sky gave a whole new dynamic and allowed the MRE to plan their trip to the country.
And to welcome them, the ONMT organized on June 15 at the Marrakech-Menara international airport with the “Welcome Back” operation, they were received in the same way as foreign tourists by the DG ONMT, officials of the National Confederation of Tourism (CNT) and the Regional Council of Tourism (CRT) of Marrakech-Safi. This welcome was marked by the participation of all trades in the sector (hotel concierges, receptionists, travel agents, housekeepers, etc.)
On royal instructions, carriers and tourism professionals charged reasonable prices to facilitate the return of UMs. In
is followed by a whole panoply of promotional offers.
The exceptional offer of RAM for the MRE And it is the national company, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) which opened the ball. Indeed, the national carrier has implemented an exceptional pricing for MRE for tickets purchased from this Sunday, June 13 and for flights operated from abroad and during the period from June 15 to September 30, 2021. Thus, with the exception of Turkey and Russia, the price of a return ticket from Europe is 97 euros including tax per passenger for a family made up of four or more members.
This price is 120 euros including tax for a return trip for a passenger traveling with a family of three. For the passenger traveling alone or in the company of another person, the unit price is 150 euros including tax (round trip).
Round trip tickets are 500 euros including tax from New York, Washington and Montreal), the ticket costs 500 euros including tax for any passenger traveling with two or more other family members.
The price of the return ticket is 600 euros including tax for other passengers.
For flights from Africa, Turkey and Russia, the price of the return ticket is 240 euros including tax for any passenger traveling with two or more family members. It is 300 euros including tax for any passenger traveling alone or in the company of a family member.
From Tunisia, the return ticket is offered at 120 euros for any passenger traveling with two or more other family members. The price is 150 euros including tax for any passenger traveling alone or in the company of a family member.
From Egypt, the ticket price is 150 euros including tax for a passenger traveling with two or more other family members.
These enticing offers caused travel agencies and sites offering RAM tickets to be taken by storm.

ONCF offer

When getting off the plane or the boat, the MRE can take the train. The ONCF prepared a special “MRE” plan for them with reinforced train offers and an advantageous welcome rate, particularly from the main sea and air entry points. “This is an offer totaling 21 trains per day from Tangier to the South (Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech) and to the Oriental (Fez, Nador and Oujda), in addition to the connection from the “Mohammed V international airport to Casablanca, which will be served by 10 trains with a rate of 2 hours covering the whole day from 5 am to 11 pm”, specifies the ONCF.
In terms of fares, the office has launched an “AHLAN” welcome fare allowing a 50% reduction on the return ticket to and from all rail destinations and on board all Al-Boraq, Al- trains. Atlas and TNR. This offer is valid from June 15 to September 15 on presentation of an entry and exit ticket from Morocco (plane / boat).

Carriers not to be outdone Following the example of the air, maritime and hotel sectors, airport transfer operators have announced exceptional prices for the benefit of MRE for the summer of 2021. For example, YourC Chauffeur.
ma, the chauffeur-driven car reservation platform (VTC), has reduced its rates for MRE. Thus, Moroccans arriving at the airports of Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Tangier, Fez and Agadir will be offered a discount of up to 20% on the fixed price. Regarding health measures, the company claims to systematically disinfect vehicles.
Hotels: discounts too good to be true!
To prepare for the summer season and welcome the MRE, the National Confederation of Tourism (CNT), held marathon meetings.
These have resulted in the commitment of operators to receive the MRE under the best conditions of health security. They
are also committed to offering them exceptional rates.
“We have agreed that Moroccan nationals abroad can benefit from a special reduction in addition to the reduction that we offer to tourists. At the level of the public price there is already a reduction of 50%. And we add a reduction of at least 30% for MRE on the prices displayed on the web. The offer also includes free admission for the first child from June 15, ”says Abellatif Kabbaj, president of the CNT and founder of the Kenzi channel. According to the latter, “reservations will start after Eid.
As of July 15, hotels will run at 15 to 20%. After July 15, they will rise to 60%. ”That said, the CNT has signed an agreement to this effect with the Ministry of Tourism which also provides for the commitment of professionals to respect health conditions. The hoteliers’ offer includes 100% free cancellation or modification of reservations.
But following the animation at the level of social networks criticizing the separation of local Moroccans, the National Federation of the Hotel Industry (FNIH) has decided to extend the reduction offers for the benefit of MRE to all residents in the Morocco.
As the leading hotel operator in Morocco, the Accor group has set up a system offering MRE a 30% discount on its public rates. The chain also offers to offer breakfast as well as free room for a child, in all the brands of the group and all the cities in Morocco: Fairmont, Sofitel, MGallery, Pullman, Movenpick, Mercure, Novotel, ibis and ibis budget. “In addition, the group offers travelers the opportunity to rediscover the Kingdom through the #ALLFBLADNA initiative which offers a selection of remarkable experiences intended to highlight the exceptional diversity of the terroirs and territories of Morocco,” of the management of the Accor group.

Travel agencies

As for travel agencies, it must be said that all is not rosy even with this revival of the tourism sector. Indeed, if the latter were able to benefit a little from the sales of plane tickets, we cannot say as much about other products.
This is the case with the pilgrimage.
Unfortunately, this flagship product of the agencies cannot be marketed this year because the Saudi authorities have restricted the Hajj to only Saudis and residents in the country.
