Visited by nearly 60 million unique players every month and played 22 billion times since its launch in 2017, Adopt Me! is arguably the most popular Roblox game. Its creators had regrouped under the name of Team Adopt Me and Dreamcraft, but, by dint of growing, they made the choice to found their own studio, with for aim to create other games in the future.
May the Adopt Me players! be reassured, Uplift Games will continue to release new updates. However, the studio has every intention of working on other things, but it is not clear if these productions will be only for Roblox, or if some will be released on standalone, on Steam or the Epic Games Store, for example. example. Josh Ling, Director of Commercial Operations, explains that “ Uplift Games is a huge step forward in bringing our vision to the gaming industry ”, Affirming that the team, currently composed of 40 people, is doomed to grow over time.
As a reminder, Adopt Me! is a role-playing game in which players will have the opportunity to play the role of a baby or a parent, the latter having to take care of the former. Regardless of the role chosen, players will appear in a house that can be personalized as desired. Of course, babies with needs, parents will have to make sure to meet them.
