Brazilian footballer Fabio Gama Dos Santos seems to have adapted very well in his new environment and has already taken interest in some local dishes and drinks within a short period.
The 28-year-old joined Asante Kotoko on a free transfer ahead of the start of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
The left-footed player has taken the league by storm due to his technical prowess on the pitch and already a household name among the Kotoko fans.
Fabio Gama is enjoying his stay in the West African country alongside his football.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based radio station, Pure FM on his favorite local food and drink, the Brazilian footballer said, “The weather condition here in Ghana is the same as that of Brazil but the only problem is the food”
“My favorite food in Ghana is Jollof Rice. I like ‘Sobolo’. It’s one of my favorites”
The former Jokopings midfielder has been one of the best performing players for the Porcupine Warriors in the ongoing season.
Gama is expected to be back on the pitch for Asante Kotoko in their game against Medeama on Saturday after missing the Olympics game last weekend due to suspension.
He has scored two goals in 14 appearances for Asante Kotoko
