The new all-electric BMW i4 sedan presents itself for the very first time, ahead of its launch this fall 2021.

The day is full for BMW, which communicates on its 2020 balance sheet, but also on its future. Its near future is reflected in many electrics, 13 in total by 2023. After details on the large SUV iX, the new sedan is revealed.

It is with surprise that the brand presents the Bmw i4 this Wednesday morning, before his dedicated conference which brought nothing. We discover its lines, not surprisingly. It is true that the 2019 concept had already disclosed 90% of the design, while the thermal cousin 4 Series Gran Coupé is already launched.

The typical dual-optic headlights join the large grille, vertical but not as monstrous as that of the iX. Like the iX3, BMW reveals a white livery, with black rocker panels, very covering rims and blue elements. These will undoubtedly be optional, rest assured. However, BMW is careful not to show us the interior of the vehicle. It should be close to the prototype.

What range and power for the BMW i4?

However, the precise characteristics remain unknown. The Bmw i4 promises power “Up to 390 kW / 530 hp”, indicating multiple versions. Its autonomy will also depend on the different sizes of batteries offered, and will culminate at 590 kilometers. The official site indicates 400 kW / 544 hp and 585 km, the choice is yours!

Available this fall 2021, the electric sedan should not reveal its price for several weeks. Patience therefore.
