Recently unveiled, the new generation of Mercedes C-Class promises a 100% electric version for 2024.

Following in the footsteps of the other models in the range, the most popular Mercedes is changing generation. Asked by CoachMercedes Chief Operating Officer Markus Schäfer said the new dedicated MMA platform will create the 100% electric version of the Mercedes C-Class. its own style, to better mark its affiliation with the brand’s EQ range.

Smaller than the MEA platform on which the next Mercedes EQS is based, the MMA unit would limit space to house a huge battery. But it should have sufficient capacity and generous autonomy to try to rub shoulders with the references of the segment.

However, it will be necessary to be patient before seeing the arrival of the Mercedes C-Class on the roads: the platform should not be operational until 2024.
