In total, the ten most expensive cars in the world cost almost 72 million euros. Some of them are unique, some were produced in small series. The VW subsidiary Bugatti makes it onto the list four times, while Ferraris are not among the most expensive cars. We show the most expensive cars in the world and how much they cost.

10. Aston Martin Valkyrie (approx. 3 million euros)

Together with Red Bull, Aston Martin has built a roadworthy racing car. Of the planned 175 models of the Valkyrie are 150 for the road and 25 for the racetrack. Every single one of the approximately three million euros expensive hypercars was already sold before production started in 2021.

9. Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ (approx. 3.5 million euros)

On August 2nd, 2019 the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport the 300 mph limit – that’s about 490 kilometers per hour. The VW subsidiary Bugatti then built the special edition of the hypercar in series. What at first sounds like mass production is, however, like most of the vehicles in this list, a strictly limited small series production. Just 30 of the record-breaking Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ vehicles have been built since 2019. In order to get one of the 1,600 hp vehicles, buyers have to be willing to pay a sum of more than 3.5 million euros to pay.

8. Lamborghini Veneno Roadster (approx. 4 million euros)

Just nine vehicles of the exotic collector’s item Lamborghini Veneno The Audi subsidiary Lamborghini produces the open version as a so-called roadster. There are just five of the coupés. The reinterpretation of the missing Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic from the 1930s was built as a one-off and acquired by an unknown buyer. The Bugatti La Voiture Noire has a 16-cylinder W engine with 1,500 hp and reaches a top speed of 420 km / h.

2. Rolls-Royce Sweptail (approx. 11.5 million euros)

It makes it into second place of the most expensive cars in the world Rolls-Royce Sweptail. Like the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, this luxury vehicle is one-of-a-kind, but it was made exclusively for a customer. Based on the Rolls-Royce Phantom, work was carried out on the Sweptail for four years. Neither the unknown customer nor Rolls-Royce wanted to comment on the exact price.
