Teaching right now is so many things: hard, amazing, rewarding, frustrating, joyful. This week let’s appreciate teaching in all its complicated, life-changing glory!

So for our community, Teacher Appreciation Week is like every holiday rolled into one.
Starting May 2nd, join us for a week of celebration, appreciation, and tons of classroom funding! Throughout the week, you’ll see matched donations and other surprises that make it easy for donors to show their support. Tuesday, May 3rd
On May 3, SONIC Drive-In will make sure every single donation on DonorsChoose is matched at least 50% — while funds last. This is the moment to make sure the teachers and school communities you care most about are supported. Happy Teacher Appreciation Day indeed!

Thursday, May 5th
On May 5, the Dollar General Literacy Foundation will double every donation to projects for books, while funds last.
