After numerous rumours surfaced around the controversial director Ram Gopal Varma’s health condition the last few days, he put out a video clarifying them.

RGV is one of the few directors shooting for films after permissions were given and churning them out for OTT platforms. There were rumours that the director was infected with Covid-19 due to the same. However, trashing all these rumours, he released a video in which he says, “There are rumours that I am suffering from severe fever and Covid too. People are assuming so many things about my health.” He adds, “This is to clarify I am fit as hell and working out non-stop. I have interesting films lined up and am working on those. Many were happy that I fell ill, but the truth is I’m fine. I am sorry to disappoint you. Whoever is kind of likes me, I convey my wishes to them, I am super fine.”

As proof, RGV even lifted dumbells to show how he’s working on his biceps. The video took social media by a storm and put an end to rumours of his health. One of RGV’s next films is Murder, which is based on an honour killing in Telangana that shook the entire nation in 2018. Apart from this, he’s also making a film on a journalist, a film called Allu, which is said to be the story of an influential family in Tollywood and more.
