Daily Campello Art News: Nothing Gold Can Stay

Studio Gallery and the Stimson Middle currently and as a result of March 3, 2023 have a new collaborative exhibition by Suzanne Yurdin on exhibit. This exhibit is accessible for viewing at the Stimson Center in Dupont Circle by appointment only.  The work was curated by J.S. Herbert and Halley Stubis.

Suzanne Yurdin’s paintings use the fragility of character as a catalyst to awaken our senses to our vanishing pure landscape. This exhibition of paintings explores themes of growth, modify, decomposition, and regeneration. Via gestural brushwork and intuitive mark building, the function connects the viewer to their sense of spot on Earth and seeks to energize our endeavours to help you save the attractiveness of destinations that can not be changed.

Nothing Gold Can Stay - Suzanne Yurdin

In my immensely educated feeling, Yurdin is one of the most gifted abstract painters in our region – so go verify out these will work!

The Stimson Center is open up for viewing of the exhibition by appointment only, from Monday to Friday, concerning the several hours of 10 am and 4 pm. All website visitors are encouraged to be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccination. Please get hold of gallery director Halley Stubis at [email protected] or phone at 202-232-8734 to set up an appointment.
