BPL To Co-Host Grow With Google Small Business Marketing Webinar On May 11

What: Grow with Google: Make Your Website Work for You

When: Tuesday, May 11, 2021 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. CST

The focus of the webinar is to show attendees how to ensure their website is:

– Goal-oriented to increase conversions and calls to action

– Organized and easy-to-search to reduce bounce rates

– Useful so visitors come back again and again

– Functional, so customers see the real value

– leading to loyalty

– Intuitive to use, on any device, so visitors stay

– Findable by search engines so you show up at the right place, time, and device

Attendees will walk away with free tools, a proven plan, and messaging strategies they can implement in their marketing immediately – no matter their level of marketing “know-how” or expertise. As a bonus, all attendees will receive up to $150 in Google Ad Credit (first-time users) to immediately market their business or nonprofit with the lessons they learn and apply.

The webinar presenter is Demming Bass, who has worked as an official Grow with Google trainer since 2017. To date, he’s trained over 30,000 small businesses, nonprofits and chambers on how to be better marketers. In addition to his role with Google, Demming is also a former StoryBrand Certified Guide where he works with clients around the world to improve and clarify their brand messaging strategy. Demming has presented several other free Google webinars and seminars at BPL over the past two years.

The Birmingham Public Library has had a partnership with Google since hosting Alabama’s first Grow with Google training workshops in August 2018 In June 2019, thanks to BPL’s partnership with Grow with Google, The Atlantic magazine featured the Birmingham Public Library’s free computer classes for patrons as an example of how libraries are helping bridge America’s digital skills gap.
